High school fic - might be working on an assignment together?

Hi,

I don't remember much of the story, they were all in high school & I think buffy & spike might have been working together on something & spike writes a quote from a book (maybe love in the time of cholera? That's just jumped into my head!) on buffy bedroom wall. & there was a game of "I never" by a swimming pool.
