Awww, I was so sad reading this. Buffy was so hurt that she had hurt him. I'm glad she realized her mistake. And I'm glad that Spike came back. Good job, perfect song.

I liked it lots. You really can make this into a longer story if you want. On Buffy trying to earn back his trust and love. It would make for a good read. I always felt that if any one of them were going to cheat then it would be Buffy. Spike is so faithful type. He is truly a one woman kind of guy.
It works good as a one shot as well. So, it is up to you if you want to leave it like this.
I read about your accident. I am very sorry that happen to you. I wish you the best of luck you your progress with your brain and everything.

I hate to say this, but there are glaring inconsistencies in your writing - both within this story and between this story and your other ones - that, from past observations, seem to scream 'plagiarism'. Now maybe you're just having a hard time writing, but in all honesty from the very first story you posted I have felt these stories may not be your own. Since Pari is away I'm not going to bother emailing her, but be aware that there are some sleuth-y type people here that will look into your fictions, so if they aren't yours I suggest you fess up now....
Author's Response: sorry...these fics are all mine. the first two I wrote years ago before I had a brain injury...I am trying to restore my brain to normal function... so the work isn' t as good. give me a break. how would you like to have your life taken away from you from a plane incident..I was thrown up into the air and hit the overhead bins. I was a flight attendant and now since then my life has been tests and rtestoreing what was lost...thanks for bringging that up again.

it was cher's song "believe" that was played in season 4. thanks to that episode, i can never hear that song again. i like this song a lot better.

The ending has helped the realism some, but this Buffy is still very OOC to me. You are entitled to write what you please and we knoe that Buffy is not always good to Spike, I honestly think that if you really want to write this story that you expand it to ~5000 words to give some background (so that maybe we do not hate Buffy) and then a hopeful ending. It was Cher (and this song) that the roomate played non-stop.

Not a flame, but this really needs some work. A story this involved needs more than 1200 words to flesh it out. All it left me with was feeling like Buffy was a complete bitch (committing an act that sounds an awful lot like Drusilla) and that Spike was an utter fool. Plus the Cher song kind of threw me off since Buffy's demon roomate played it in season 4.
Author's Response: I changed the ending a lot, Tell me if this helps the story out. And wasn't the song a Celine Dion song in season 4?
