I really enjoyed this story! There aren't enough nc-17 or R rated stories that have a REAL story behind them! Thank you! I'm adding you as a favorite author hoping that the rest of your stories are as great as this one was!

Kar, that was beautifully poetic and just lyrical. I enjoyed it so much--reading Buffy's journey was emotional and I was just so relieved with the ending. Fantastic job!

I loved it!!! The dialogues are so crisp and realistic, the plot and the characters absolutely believable... You really did a terrific job!!!

Author's Response: Thanks Roby! I worked very hard on the characters, trying to make them as much like canon as I could, but tweaking them so they could accept a relationship.

And Buffy is giving him a crumb indeed, wanting him to go with her in the house but not for the reasons he thought first. I guess they don't have to tell Dawn, she heard everything *g*
I'm glad to see Buffy knows what she wants (and yes, more glad that that involves Spike *gg*). Awe, she spoke on purpose, knowing Dawn was there :)
*grins* Xander's reaction was fun.

I missed two chapters I think. Good to see them updated :) Sad that it is finished....
Loved the conversation. Buffy really did have a epiphany; she is seeing now the meaning Spike has in her life. At last she told him so. And how he's there for her. :) And now on to the last chapter.

Author's Response: Glad that you enjoyed that. I figure that Spike and Buffy did that a lot in early S6, even if they didn't show a lot of it. Buffy was so comfortable with Spike.

This chapter was so beautiful. You really write the characters well especially Spike. You wrote them better than the writers on the show.
I too think Spike felt that Buffy belongs in the light and not the dark. A place where he will never belong to. Not matter what. I think it made him sad to see Buffy the way she was during season six and tried to help her the best way he knew how. Nobody knows Buffy the way Spike does and that is why I love Spuffy so much.
And yes you should write more. Keep up the good work.

The whole light speech came out of no where for me... but I think that if Spike had time to think and grow, he would definitely want her in the light vs. the dark and would try to push her towards it.
I think he realized at the end of S6, he realized that she was losing herself.
