Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1
One more thing occurred to me...I know you summarized this pretty damn well, but I am oh so very curious about this prophecy. Why was Giles and Angel dust in the wind? Honestly you left it to a point that you could continue this or you could not. I love stories that do this. I love how they give off this vibe like this could be done but *laughs evily* or it could not be done. You did a truly fantastic job with this. You inspired me! I personally love Spike in any incarnation well, sadly except humanized. If he is a male Slayer...then maybe but human not so much. Soul versus no soul...Couldn't careless - to me he was more or less the same. I loved how he was still very much the same but felt the soul...That was beautiful how he felt it and how he took it. I agree with you aspect of how claims are. This is very simple whereas some can really complicate it. Claiming to me symbolizes a set in stone committment that can never be broken. Whereas a human can break a marriage. This is done by blood and by a bond that literally tied them to eternity...*Sighs dreamily* I know you write some raunchy smutty scenes but actually I love them all. They are kinky but you don't get so caught up in the horrifying acts of harsh bdsm. You keep it on level whereas some writers can leave you feeling the weight and the emotion of the story of angst. You clearly are fluffy with very slim angst in your writing. Its very VERY good! I haven't gotten caught up in the votings or nominating anyone because well, I do this for fun. I can see why you have been nominated. Congrats to you Kitten. Ok I'm taking my sentimental self back to work! Kudos to you kitten!
Author's Response: I am so glad you took the time to let me know this moved you, The idea for this came to me in a dream and I worried how it would translate as it poured from my fingers. I liked the tenderness, I liked Buffy being stupid in the beginning, I liked Anya, being her friend. I liked the openness of the characters, al of them. I always wanted to write a claim, and I may not make this my last, but I thought the same. I dont like it when they "accidentally" claim each other, or its one sided. I wrote that Buffy initiated it and Spike was hesitant, not because of himself, but because he wanted her to be sure. As to the Kink, I love it, but I like the fun adventurous sidde of it as well. Pain/pleaseure being a fine line is ok, but there must be a line and I never want to cross it. Much Love to ya! ~Kitten
