Author's Response: Thank you, Nikkilou. Sad, yes, because I had to let Spike fulfill his destiny in the Hellmouth. Even though earlier in the series I introduced variations upon a theme with the two prophecies, the Mating and Dawn\'s continuing Keyness, I do try not to stray too far from canon. You\'ll have to wait and see....
