THE LOST CHARACTERS
Supporting Cast | Lost Cast | Dead Cast | Villain Cast

This section is for those characters that appeared, but never appeared again, or just disappeared for a while. If they didn't die, or something else happened to them, they'll stay here until we see them again.

| Ethan Rayne | Shelia | Devon | Catherine Madison | Willy (The Snitch)
Hank Summers | Marcie Ross | The Pack | Lyle Gorche | Olivia | Graham | Harmony Kendall |

Devon, the ex-boyfriend of Cordelia and musical friend of Oz is played by Jason Hall. He can sing and act. Devon has appeared in the episodes: "Inca Mummy Girl," "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered," and most recently, "Dead Man's Party." Devon is not picky with the kind of girls he dates. In fact, he could care less if she can talk. Jason has had roles in the TV movies: No Child of Mine playing Mike, and Original Sin playing Rupert Farlow. On Buffy, Devon is the lead singer of a band called, Dingo's Ate My Baby. He is close friends with Oz, Willow's boyfriend.

Ethan Rayne is portrayed by Robin Sachs. With such roles as that of a recurring guest star on Babylon 5 and guest appearances in Walker, Texas Ranger, Robin has had a very impressive career in acting. His portray of the rude self-concerned man that shared Giles' rebellious past is amazing. His character, Ethan is not liked by many. However, he always manages to escape before Buffy has a chance to beat him to a bloody pulp. His character was last seen in the episode, "Band Candy." Because he failed to reappear after that, and since that was a one-time thing, he stays here until we see him again.

Shelia the trouble making girl turned vampire is played by Alexandra Johnes. Shelia was transformed into a vampire by Drusilla and left to roam the world a creature of the night after Buffy let her escape alive or should I say "undead". Alexandra has had many roles in acting including the role of the childlike Empress from the Never Ending Story II, and the role of Phoebe in the film Zelly and Me. She also had a role as the young Hilda "Hillary" on Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Catherine "The Great" Madison witch turned trophy is played by Robin Riker. Her character, the mother of Amy Madison is that of a witch who tried to live her glory days over by turning into her daughter. As an actress Robin has had roles in films such as Alligator, Stepmonster, and "Dead Badge". On the small screen she has had roles in show such as Brothers, Shaky Ground, Thunder Alley, and The Gregory Hines Show. She has also had guest roles on shows such as Empty Nest, M*A*S*H, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Her character on Buffy now remains trapped in a high school cheerleading trophy. And well, we don't exactly know if she is ever going to get out. So, until her fait is determined...she remains here in good company.

Willy, a human friend of vampires is played by Saverio Guerra. Saverio has had roles in films such as The Winter, Bad Boys, Sleepers, and Breathing Room. He also had a role in the TV Series Temporarily Yours. Saverio's character, Willy on Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a sly working guy who works with vampires. He works at a bar where vampires can hang out and always knows what's going on whether he admits to it or not. Last seen in "What's My Line Part 2," his character escaped near-death as Spike nearly killed him. Recently, in the episode, "Amends" Willy filled Buffy and Xander in on some information regarding the "First." He's staying here until he shows up again. He's had several mentions, but he has not been seen...yet.

Hank Summers, father of Buffy Summers is portrayed by Dean Butler. Born May 20, 1956 in Piedmont, CA, Dean has had a many roles to his credit. He has had roles in movies such as: The Final Goal, and Desert Hearts. He is probably best known for his role as Almonzo Wilder on Little House on the Prairie. He has roles in such TV series as: The New Gidget, Giget's Summer Reunion, Forever, and guest appearances on: Who's the Boss, and CHiPs. Hank has appeared twice on Buffy in the episodes "Nightmares," and "When She Was Bad." He hasn't been seen since then but we know he's still alive, at least for now.

Marcie Ross was played by Clea DuVall. Clea has had roles in TV Shows such as the short-lived, Crisis Center, ER, and Dangerous Minds. She has had many movie roles that include, Little Witches, Wild Flowers, and How to Make the Cruelest Month. Her latest projects include Kevin Williamson's, The Faculty, (which is already on video) and the 1999 film, The Astronaut's Wife. Marcie Ross was a girl who was ignored in class, in the halls and just about everywhere else. When it finally set in that "when no one notices you, you're invisible" in the most literal sense possible, Marcie set for revenge upon her classmates and teachers who neglected to acknowledge her presence in the world. After trying to cut Cordelia up and teach a lesson to her fellow Sunnydale students, Buffy saved the day, yet again. She was then taken to a secret FBI school for invisible students where they were to be of benefit to the government.

The Pack consists of four members minus Xander who is not a lost character. Eion Bailey played Kyle, the brunette male. Michael McRaine was Rhonda the brunette female who always had a joke to say, hyena or not. Brian Gross was Tor, the blonde male. Jennifer Sky played Heidi, the blond female. After working on Buffy, Jennifer Sky moved on to a role on General Hospital as Sarah Webber but now stars in the syndicated series, Cleopatra 2525. Brian Gross has had roles in Tiger Heart, and No One Would Tell. The cast members have not appeared yet, but because none of them have been announced dead, or any mention has been made, they'll remain here.

Lyle Gorche was played by Jeremy Ratchford. Jeremy has had roles in such productions as Fly Away Home, Generation X, The Stupids, and Peacekeepers. Lyle Gorche was one of two brothers who were just as deadly human as they were vampires in the episode, "Bad Eggs." Lyle and his brother Tector (played by House of Frankenstien actor, James Parks) would slaughter villages even before they were changed to vampires. However, while Lyle and Tector were trying to kill Buffy (Buffy was meanwhile trying to kill a bazore) Tector was swallowed up by a giant Bazoar. After Buffy slayed the bazoar, Lyle ran off. He returned again in the third season episode, "Homecoming." His wife, was slain and then Cordelia scared him off simply by threatening him.

Olivia, an old friend of Giles's and his current romantic interest is played by Phina Oruche. Phina Oruche has had roles in such films as Sabrina (1995), If Looks Could Kill, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, and The Sky Is Falling. She first appeared in the episode "The Freshman," but left and didn't return to Sunnydale until the episode "Hush." In the end of the episode, she was skeptical and slightly frightened about demons and mythological creatures. She reappeared in "Restless," but has not been seen during the fifth season.

Graham, one of the operatives working for the underground group The Initiative is played by Bailey Chase. Graham seems to be part of a lead team in the Initiative, as he worked side by side with Riley Finn and Forrest. He has appeared throughout the fourth and fifth season, but with Riley's departure in "Into the Woods," Graham departed as well. Bailey Chase has done few things in his acting career, at least that I have been able to find. In addition to his role as Graham on Buffy, Chase has a regular role on the MTV late-night series Undressed. He's also held the role of Keith in the movie, The Stray, he's portrayed the character of Brad in the movie Billboard Dad, and played Flicker in the movie, Cosmo's Tale.

Harmony Kendall is played by Mercedes McNab. She is a snobby, popular girl who, like the old Cordelia enjoys trashing people and their reputations. Her character was removed from the show for a while and then brought back in "Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered." She reappeared in the recent episode, "The Wish" which she had a major role in. She is neither a main character nor a recurring guest star but the public loves her. She was bitten in the episode, "Graduation Day, Part 2" but then returned in the Season 4 episode, "The Harsh Light of Day" as a vampire, and Spike's new girlfriend. She has maintained an off and on relationship with Spike throughout the fifth season.
