| Yeah, it was an open-ending "ending" because you'll see a ficlet describing Buffy's "return." Doubt Xander and Willow will be in the sequel, but you might see a snippet of their life. They will be referred to a bit, just to give the reader a sense of closure on the pair. |

Kudos for an EXCELLENT story. I wanted it to go on and on and on. Alas I do realize that you probably have a life beyond Spuffy Fanfic, but I don't have to like it.
Truly this was a wonderful story. I love the way your characterization stayed consistent with BTVS (even down to "souled up pseudo-champion living off animal's blood" one of my favorite lines by the way).
I am anxiously awaiting the sequel. Congrats on a job splendidly done! |

| Thanks! Buffy not having her memories went a long way towards Spike being able to sneak inside her heart. And, pairing Xander and Willow does help lessen the blow of Buffy's "death." |

| It's just now occured to me that the decision to be turned would be a deeply personal one for Buffy. It's not a question of whether Buffy should be killed but whether she chooses to die. It should be HER CHOICE. And the fact that Spike would even think to take that choice away, or even to think of making a decision FOR HER, is grossly offensive and repulsive. This is the kind of crap which Angelus pulls and it's all the evidence one needs that he doesn't love her. And now Spike is doing it? |

I don't want to spoil you, but the words were "kill" not "turn." Remember, thanks to Spike she's already been given "immortality," so to speak. The reasons for his comment will be revealed with the next chapter, and as you can see, he wasn't making the decision lightly, but had in fact been discussing it with the Slayer's watcher. |

I hope she will see Joyce before she goes. Joyce definitely won't be satisfied without seeing Buffy. Know that for sure. All of this is going to throw her for a massive loop. As it is, it's going to break her heart that she won't get to see Buffy finish growing up and all at the normal pace. |

Christine Feehan; incredible gothic romance author. Her most famous series deals with the Carpathian race, which are a race of beings as old as the earth, who have SOME vampiric traits, but still have their souls and don't kill when they feed. The males lose their ability to see color and feel emotion after about two hundred years, and can only regain that by finding their lifemate, the one woman in all the world who is their other half. Their only other options are to kill themselves or become TRUE vampires and lose their souls. I highly recommend this series; first book is called Dark Prince. They're all stand-alone stories, but I find them easier to understand when read in order. Each book has the word "dark" in the title. The woman is prolific; has approximately thirty or forty books out already, and as far as I know has only been published for about ten years.

Lovely new story for me to enjoy!!!
I just recently decided to read this story and quickly found myself HOOKED. Have you ever read Christine Feehan, by any chance? Your writing styles are very similar; and trust me, that's a compliment, since she's one of my favorite writers. At any rate, I really really like this story! Interesting plot, the characters are incredible, and I must admit, the idea of vamps living among humans without harming them as often as Joss made out seems extremely logical to me; why mess with your food source, after all? *snickers* The Spuffy is delicious from one scene to the next as well; I had to keep fanning myself after reading a few of those scenes! Excellent story; please update it soon! |

| Another brilliant chapter! I like how you are still keeping the plan veiled by not having a lot of exposition between Spike and the other vamps. I really like Spike's touched reaction to Buffy's pleasure that she wasn't returning to her time, as well as Travis insistance that the staff join them. The pirate ship threw me for a loop-- Can't wait to see where this wild ride is going! |

Nice way to weave in what happened in the past after what we've seen before without having to go into it day by day. I like that. You have such a variant style and outlook on your writing. I liked the way they all were spying on the Scoobs-- Way cooler than the geek trio! And Kendra...Hmmm...The plot thickens. I'm ready for Buffy to come back after having loved Spike as her husband for 20 years and the Scoobies will realize they don't know her and have nothing in common with her anymore. She'll be so beyond high school, that she may have a nice peer relationship with Giles, assuming the marriage and mating with Spike doesn't stick in his craw too badly. | Oh wow I knew it. Warriors of light indeed I'd call them the 'illuminati' or something cool like that. I'm really hoping that Buffy and Spike stay in the past for a good while yet. I can just hear Angel calling Spike 'boy' and treating Buffy like a child when they get back. It'd be great if as well as being the head of his own clan of legendary warriors, Spike was also older than Angel and Buffy was practically his contemporary, age wise. Angel places great importance on his title of 'champion for the PTB' Can you imagine his ire when he finds out Spike was 'chosen before him. I just can't wait for more, really love it. |

| Aurelian justice seems like a fairly fair justice, especially by campire standards. You don't mess with them. EXCELLENT chapter. I loved the way Buffy and Spike interacted at the end of the chapter. Nice flashback to how she felt during the first justice and using that as a jump for us to be in anoither justice situation so far in the future. Nice way to move along the timeline of the plot without making it feel like there were holes. Look forward to the next update. |

| What a brilliant, and long awaited *smiles*, chapter. An interesting take on Aurelian law and justice - vampire and human alike, are accountable. I'm worried that it's not as human/vampire integrated as I feel it could be and that might be part of the major problem for long term harmony. I was also wondering how much time had elapsed between the execution of Mrs whatshername?'s killers and the current two. I presume, some time seeing that Buffy is not only readily accepting of the sentence but is able to witness it and have sex with Spike in the presence of others. I approve of the transition and feel it show's Buffy's growing maturity and acceptance of all aspects of Spike, but I'm curious to keep track of time here. Not missing current day Sunnydale at all, yet...

| This is such a great tale. I'm so curious about what the PTB are trying to accomplish with Spike and Buffy's presence during this time.
