| I actually felt sorry for Xander and yet felt justice for his situation. He is now experiencing what he helped force Spike to experience. I am finding the origin of the slayer very interesting and I enjoyed the story of the two sisters. I am really enjoying this story and am looking forward to where you take it. |

| Thoroughly fascinating update - and somehow I'd missed the last couple of chappies so it's like Christmas x 3 yaaay! So heartening to see the gang being more considerate of each other and of their own actions too...oh and it looks like Xander might finally be ready to ride that wave LOL. | I loved Buffy's reaction to finding out the chip was gone. It shows how much she has changed and how much she cares for Spike. I also loved her response when Spike said he got his soul for himself and not for her. What she had learned is a very important lesson in life. |

Not nice to test her, Spike, but I guess he needs to know.
Very interesting take on S6 and onward. Why does the First get to have power again? It originally did because Buffy was resurrected, making a weakness in the Slayer line that it could exploit. This is a different experience, with Buffy's death prevented in the first place. Or has it been building strength since Xander resuscitated Buffy in Season 1. It doesn't like souled vampires, though, as evidenced by it's playing with Angel. |

| I like that not only did Buffy realize that Xander's actions were inappropriate but that she stood up for herself and told him so. I loved Buffy's response to finding out that Spike had paid taxes. Tara is so smart and caring, I like what a positive influence she is for Willow. |

| I love that Buffy really heard Dawn and that she saw the truth to her words. Very smart move on Spike's part giving Buffy a little time to make sure that him moving in is what she really wants. |

| Gosh what a thoroughly original premise! Loving it - while certainly optimistic it's not completely fluffy and your set up in the opening chapters was fantastic. I'm particularly interested in what disasters Dawn and Spike may still want to try and avert and what the cost to them will be. Oh and if Buffy were to discover what they've done I wonder what her reaction would be...gratitude for all they've risked and sacrificed? Disappointment that they flipped the 'natural' order of things on its head? Awe that they would change the world for her? Anger at their seeming manipulation? Or maybe a combination of all these things...honestly it's gonna have me up thinking about it until you next update. Help me avoid the insomnia and update soon please :-D |
