Loved this! I loved William, Willow calling him a sweetheart, Spike not being ashamed afterwards, but challenging Buffy to give him a chance, his snarky "never take a long time to come with me," all of it. This is the first fic of yours that I've read. I hope you have more out there.  I'm off to look. |

This is really the only fic I've written where Spike is a vampire- most of mine are AU ones and are posted on The Spuffy Realm or Captive Souls. The response has been incredible for this fic, though, so maybe another vamp-Spike fic will be written by me;) |

| Awwww ... that was so sweet! I liked the title William's Always There. Angel is such a dope. I never understood why he didn't stay to fight for her in the show or try to work it through. Yeah, they wanted to give him his own show, but plotwise, if he was so much in love with her ... I don't see him leaving. I like Spike better. Poor guy gets the crap kicked out of him because he won't leave, but he fights for what and whom he loves. |

| I crack up more with each chapter. The whole Giles, Joyce and Buffy interaction is "bloody hilarious". Giles trying to get the daughter in with the mom ... man he is a honrdog. Dang! I hope she reminds him of every word. I can't wait to see the major glass cleaning that goes on. ROFL. I always wondered what would have happened if Joyce got pregnant from the band candy episode. They were randy youth ... they probably di dn't use protection. Just mind wandering thoughts. |

| ROFLMAO!!! Oh my gosh!! The chapter title had me hooked and laughing before I even opened it. Reading the chapter I died. Giles answering the phone like that was perfect! Hearing her mom's voice with a semi-naked Giles was funnier. Only plot point I noticed, but totally worked for me, was that you had Buffy knowing about William's old self. The Watcher Journals didn't speak of William in that way. They talked about him as a hooligan. At least from what I remember on the show. Personally I like your way better. Maybe he told Joyce about his true past self, and Joyce shared that with Buffy. Who knows ... who cares ... just bringing that up to your attention in case someone freaks. |
