Giles said that Slayers don't get a real life they get a calling. With Riley, Buffy wasn't doing her calling, with Spike she will be. Thier isssue with Spike has nothing to do with Buffy's calling but with Buffy doing what they want her to do.
Love Spike's speech to Willow and Xander. So needed to be said in canon. |

I just started (and finished) reading this today. Great story. Lots of twists and turns and smut...gotta love the smut! I actually took my laptop and thrust it into my husbands hands and told him that I wanted him to do the spanking scene to me! He laughed at me. Then made promises of 'later.' So not only is this a big thanks for the great story, but it is a huge thanks for giving us ideas! Congrats on your awards, you deserve them for this story. I can't wait to read the rest!

This was an awesome chapter, and you really know how to crank up the heat on our fearless duo. The letter from Faith was dead-on in terms of voice, word-choice, etc. And it is so awesome to see Riley so bent about the things Buffy will let Spike do to her that she would never let him do-- Such a guy thing! Great update. Now, with such lavish praise, and assuming real life doesn't rear it's ugly head, could I beg, borrow or steal for another update very, very soon? Pretty please? |
