This was a wonderful story. Is there more? I'm still waiting for Giles to get his come uppance for the letter that caused the 4 month separation. And I'd like to see Xander's head explode due to the spuffy love. This was a great story. Good job.

Excellent ending and epilogue. Bravo!! I enjoyed the whole series, and it ended on such a positive and happy note. I love that. Even with the trepidation about the Council, they are solid together, and that is great. Wonderful story. Thank you for giving us so much, Kat. {Smiles}

What a wonderful epilogue. Will there be another "alone" story? These were so good it's hard for me to give them up. Now that she's immortal and not so silly about killing humans, maybe they could take down the Wankers Council. Thank you so much for sharing your talent.

Awww ... lovely explanations already. Poor demon woman when Buffy said she'd kill for a bath. They have been so abused for so long, the woman didnt' know that Buffy didn't mean literally. Excellent chapter. Heading to the last one.
I had to lighten it up just a bit, especially after all the darkness that seemed to abound this series.

That is so our kick arse Spike. Torture the bastard that killed Buffy and hack him to pieces. Yep, Angelus would have been proud of him. This time I don't mind that Angelus would have been proud. {Chuckles} I see that this is complete now, and two chapters still to read. Eagerly heading there with hope in my heart.
LOL. Hope the ending met your liking. grin* And, yeah.... I kinda miss those early days when Angelus wasn't quite a "you-know-what' and actually had fun with Spike.*

I knew there was gonna be a major smack down from Spike. I liked the way you wrote the torture scene. Not too graphic but enough to get the point across. Daniel is an intriguing new character. Can't wait to see what he and Sheila are up to. good Job

Can't believe it, Giles told her and she booked? Really pissed at her for doing that, and for 4 months, he didn't deserve that. Like to see her give Giles the same treatment as she did Xander! Didn't like the way it started out but loved the way that it ended.
She does have that bad habit of cutting and running. At least she came back. ^_^

Thanks. I'm sure in hindsight, Giles will be calling himself all kinds of fool for doing it. Especially if he were to find out that rather than confronting Spike about the claim, she took off and put herself at risk....
