| Oh Schez --- I'm so enjoying this retelling of Season One. When Joyce dusted Darla, I about had a conniption fit. It was priceless. Love Love LOVE how you are writing Cordy!!! All Joan of Arcish (the hair) with all the attitude of a women in prison movie. (lol) Spuffiness is right on par and is at a good, natural pace. And bully for Giles for sneaking around and getting Joyce the self defense brochure. |

| Xander tickling Spike was kind of disturbing. Buffy and Cordy make a good team and I'm happy that Cordy considers Buffy and Spike as her friends. She also really has a knack of taunting Angelus. I doubt she could have burned him and Darla so easily if they weren't insane with rage at that point. I don't see how angering them could worsen the situation anymore like Spike fears. How much worse could it get for Cordy? Anything they do they would have done anyway. |

| nice chapter, was very nice and sweet between spike and buffy. Xander is becoming a mature guy, respect. As for cordelia, much rather it happend to her then buffy. Cus i believe that buffy was still emotionale damaged in season7, the betrayal of her supposed "first love" was too much for her. Cordelia on the other hand wasn't in love with angel and can hopefully grow as a person and woman from this situation.

| Wow. Great chapter. First of all I love how you are writing Angel. You make fun of him, but also make us feel sorry for him. I also loved your explination of how Spike could give mouth to mouth. I don't think it was necessary, the whole vampires can't do CPR from Prophecy Girl was kind of dumb, but still I thought it was funny that Spike could save her because he smoked. And finally I like how Spike leaped into action wihtout thiking while Angel was left wishing he'd done what Spike had. On to the next chapter. |

| Another great update - kudos on the CPR thing, anyone want to let me know how Angel "has no breath" but vampires can talk and exhale smoke. The entire act of speaking involves inhaling air into the lungs and exhaling and creating noise as air passes through the "voicebox." Since vampires don't take oxygen from the air, they technically have "more breath" (oxygen) when performing CPR. Angel's a dumbass. Basic logic and common sense drive me nuts when I watch TV. |

| What a way to meet! So romantic actually. I know that probably doesn't sound right, but imagine waking up to Spike's beautiful face looking down on you? It would be romantic to me. Good explanation about him being able to give her mouth to mouth. I always thought it was kind of funny that Angel couldn't do that in Prophecy Girl. He can force air into and out of his lungs if he wanted to, even if he didn't have to breathe. Nice touch Look forward to more. |

You know, I really can see Spike responding to acceptance and love even with no chip or soul and Angel is just Angelus lite IMHO...still a liar and manipulator where Buffy is concerned (On his own show he had the makings of a hero, but not on BtVS). | Oh my God, I just can't get enough of this story. My least favorite seasons of Buffy were always the ones before Good Spike...and anytime Spuffy is written in that period it just doesn't ring true. Until this fic, that is. I think you inserted him PERFECTLY into this time period and I LOVE the resulting changes based on his early appearance on the scene. Can't wait for more! |
