wow..this was an incredible fic...i don't know how old it is, so have you started the sequel yet? please let me know when you do, i loved every bit of this story  |
| No! I was so sick of this fic when I finished it I haven't been able to start the sequel. LOL I know bad of me, but Ritual makes me cringe with how fluffy and badly characterized it was. Maybe by Jan. of next year I can come back to it and actually write a sequel. I'm hoping to get caught up on Belonging this week by the way. I'm supposed to have alittle time to read! |

Great update!!! I love Primal Spike, and his fierce protectiveness towards Buffy was fab!! I can imagine him tearing those vamps limb from limb to save her....what a man/vamp!!! And the end, don't know if Giles should forgive him so easily (I wouldn't, but I hold grudges too much too) so I can't wait to see what'll happen there. Oh, and what about Dru and Angel? Will we know what happened to them when they went primal? Can't wait for more!!!!

Well Buffy has now been in contact with her mother. Although she was just trying to protect her. I am glad that Joyce knows Buffy is alive "kindof". Glad that Spike made it to her in time. Wonder what is going to happen now that the spell is over. Hopeing that things will work out for all involved.

Man eyes were opened all around Sunnydale today... Great update. I am glad that Angel didn't act like an idiot, but I knew that Dru woudl be on her best behavior. She has her daddy back and would do anything to keep him. Love the chapter.

Great update!! I smell something rotten in Denmark...Dru's being tooo passive for me, and I'm afraid her nails are gonna be coming out to play soon...YIKES! I love the little scene between Spike/Buffy and Giles/Ethan...I was laughing like crazy when Giles tried to discipline Buffy for being with Spike, and Spike just mocked him...great stuff!!! Can't wait for more!!!

What a great chap! Tea time with Miss Edith - I like that could be a tv show - what do you think? lol Still those two crazy kids - Giles & Ethan - love them. Such a funny scene b/t the couples. But Dru knows something...I'm sensing an Angelus appearance in the near future (I've been trying to get it out of Miss Edith, but she's mums the word).

This is a very different story of our familiar vamps, watcher, slayer and warlock. Glad that Buffy isn't a bimbo who thinks she knows what's right and needs to please dumb friends. Drusilla sounds dangerous though. More soon please.

Loved the chapter, the idea that the vamps will keep their souls... now I'm wondering what decision Buffy will make - it's about becoming a vamp and being together with Spike forever...

Great start to this story. I like the background information that ties her original watcher, Merrick, to this story. Good lead in with Lothos as well, showing that she isn't exactly all peaches and cream. She has some bite to her. I look forward to updates.

Such a lovely start you've got here! I really like the Buffy that you've created, the broken girl I think the writers were hinting at when they had her mention that she'd been in an asylum. They went back on that pretty fast, but I thought it was an intriguing idea, and you're doing very well with a broken and isolated Buffy. And having Merrick as her only friend only to have her lose him so painfully, much like Gunn lost Alonna on Angel--very effective! I like the way your verse is taking shape.

Wonderful Rae! The walls you are building around Buffy are going to be intresting to watch evolve, bend, and shatter. The pain and desperation of her is clouded by hints of longing and reluctant acceptance. The result is a papalible pain that is heart breaking. Her world is full of darkness and sadness; thus leaving her in a state of flux. Its going to be an intresting ride once other characters are thrown into the mix. I can hardly wait to read your Spike and whatever other characters you give us. More Please!!

Excellent ... excellent update. You are setting this up really nicely. I liked Chapter One with the lead in on Merrick and Lothos. I like Chapter 2 with the introduction of Spike and Drusilla. Very nice all around. I look forward to more of this story.

What a clever way to get Buffy to Sunnydale. I can't wait to see what happens when all the characters meet for the first time. And what has happened with the Master? If Buffy wasn't there did he rise? Did they defeat him? And what will happen when Giles meets Buffy - he seems harder in this one - oh and what about Willow and Xander - did Giles save them - are they vampires? Oh tell, tell all!

Another interesting chapter. I like how the players are moving into place. Giles is a different man because of the two year wait for Buffy. What will happen next? Will Buffy still be enamored with Angel (Goodness I hope not)? Will she see Spike first and feel for him? I'll keep hoping.

Great chapter. I can't wait to see what direction this will take once Angel, Dru and Spike are together again. They will get together again, right? I just really like Dru and Angel as a couple.... which obviously leaves Spike and Buffy free to discover what they were truly meant to be.

Good for Buffy. Although I really like Giles and the development of his character on the show, I also like where he started from... Wesly-like sour-puss who thought Buffy was too much. You brought this character back to the beginning, which is something a lot of fanfic fails to do. I really like it.

SQUEE!! Seems that their meeting has left both Spike and Buffy aroused, interested, and pissed...I love it!! And Buffy's reaction to Angel? PRICELESS!!! I was laughing with her, especially the comment about the hair gel, and it pleases me to no end that you've written her to hate Angel and lust over Spike...finally...blondie gets her first!!! Can't wait for more!!!

Boy howdy, someone's in TROUBLE!!! Hehehe....I loved it!!! Buffy's musings about Angel are freaking hilarious!! (too bad she didn't feel the same during the show) And Ethan's just one evil little bug, isn't he? Oh, and the question about Giles/Ethan's friendship...very interesting...and with whole Angel/Dru thing too...Spike...what can I say...he's got it bad....can't wait for more!!!

Love the Ethan/Giles angle that you've played. Getting Buffy reunited with Joyce in Sunnydale; Angel irritated with Dru; Buffy & Dru having tea (lol); and then Spike asking to turn Buffy -- really great.
