Fantastic final scene for this story. The Christmas presents were all perfectly chosen and arranged into a very touching array.

| This fic was great. Meret was utterly adorable. I like how you made Spike and Dawn really become a part of the Scoobies. I also like the sorta Spike/Anya friendship and how she helped curb Willow's magic problem. I can't wait to read the sequel. |

| That was wonderful. A fully realized story - with great interaction between the characters. You got their voices down and, I keep going back to the plot, the story line was really really good. I certainly hope more threats of violence won't be necessary to make you post more of your work. I'll certainly be reading it. |

Great healing scene. Very touching, especially Buffy's comment on Meret. I very much love the fact that Spike fist act of revenge upon having his chip weakened is to smack Xander. Very in character, but still relatively benign.
I'm curious to see what it is Giles is not quite revealing. |

There were few beings, human or demonic, who could rival Spike in terms of sheer determination.
Isn't that the truth? He's always come thru, no matter what the situation; whether stuck in a wheelchair or thrown out by his sire, hobbled by secret forces or burdened by his own soul -- every time he comes out on top. How could you not love an underdog like that?

Spike.Update soon.I have this story in my head that is set post NFA.Angel has gone insane following the battle,and Spuffy have to take care of him.They're also dealing with Buffy's third pregnancy in two years.(In the story they have two daughters named Taryn and Willa.The two work fast even if all three of her pregnancies were a surprise.) |

Interesting final line.
A good chapter. I like Spike's tenderness in pulling Meret's feather and the camraderie with Buffy that is developing. The softening of the Scoobies is also rewarding. |

| I enjoy Spike's shower meditation. It's a good way to keep him grounded with reality. The picnic was a wonderful reconnection between the four friends. I adore Meret's attempt to smooth things over with buffalo wings. |

| Spike and Tara just seem to work as friends in my mind, regardless of their lack of any such relationship on the show. I always wished that we saw more interaction between Spike and Anya too, because I think their arcs were somewhat similar and the play would have been interesting. | Lucky for Buffy that Spike got that money. I never could quite stomach Buffy working in the Doublemeat Palace while her friends lived and hung out at her house for free. Willow's parents were rich and Tara had money for school and board. Rant over. |

Great story ! I really like both the monologue and dialogues in this work. The serpent is propably the "best new character" I have seen in a while, reptile or not.

Okay....After reading the second part of this story I traced the link to Spuffy Realm to continue reading it. This is marvelous! Wanted to comment here even though it isn't all up on BSV. I love this story and have just rec'd it various places. I see why there are so many noms (I expect it will receive more BTW).
I love your Spike. Somehow I think you are really inside his head better than many authors. Great portrayal. LOVE his new wee pet too.
I have a habit of printing the true fic gold and sharing with my (also a Spuffy fan) husband then binding in notebooks. This one is going to the printer now.
