| I really enjoyed this fic. I like the comparison and agree that Buffy/Esmeralda had a stick up her a** on the show. Spike tried really hard to be good and actually succeeded in being a help but never got ANY credit for it. Good job. |

| Great story. I personally like the Spike/Quadimodo comparison as well. Would have been nice in the series if Buffy actually was capable of being this insightful before it was too late. |

That's unfair to Buffy. And I don't recall Quasimodo ever murdering a bunch of innocents. Is it too much ask that Spuffy fic writers at least try to hide their blatant favoritism and white washing of Spike? Yeah, Spike's a real prize, chaining Buffy up in the same episode she rejected him.
And oh yeah, like someone else said, Quasimodo was butt ugly. That's mainly why Esmeralda wouldn't give him the time of day. It had nothing to do with him being evil, because he wasn't. The comparison between these two characters is quite thin and all in all just does not work. Spike's prettiness is the one thing he did have going for him when it came to winning Buffy's love. In a roundabout way Buffy sort of admits that in the seasoner opener of S7. |

| Really great fic. And Buffy’s thoughts were so true, the person who couldn’t see the good in someone who had no moral compass but still managed to do good was not worthy of the one that lacked the moral compass, but was still managing to change and do good. I also liked the comparison, and really liked the way you took it, thanks for a great read. |

| Nicely done. If only Buffy was this insightfulon the show. I always thought it was too bad that Joss & Company always wrote Buffy as narrow minded and someone who did not think anything through. They really made her into a one dimensional character. She never saw the whole picture. |
| I know, her "I won't have an opinion until tomorrow" line in that scene has always frustrated me (hence the re-write) I think it would've been interesting to see what she'd have written in that exam though... Hmm; Ideas-a-brewing ;] |

| Te he- cool idea- I could have a spuffy Notre Dame play!! Quasimodo = The Hunchback of Notre Dame, btw. Tis a Disney movie (as well as an old story) And it's a nice idea that fits really well with the whole Buffy/Spike thing. Heh- I was watching Crush anyway and I thought it needed a re-write :] |
