| what a beautiful story. this was so simple and yet so packed with beautiful emotions. i'm so glad to see that you are continuing to write chelle - you have long been one of my favorite authors. you have gotten everybody just right in this story. i teared up reading what spike said about joyce. i am off to read the sequel and i know it is going to be just as wonderful as this story. thanks so much for writing this lovely little gem. |

| After reading so many fics lately where Xander is out of character I'm so happy to come across your story. Xander was perfectly done with the witty remarks, yet slightly unsurity over Buffy and Spike. Angel was done just right as well. In fact, all the characters were. *L* Loved it. |

| This is a wonderful story. It certainly packs an emotional wallop. Spike’s words for Joyce were beautiful, and the ending with her talking to her mom was perfect allowing us to see the peace Buffy finally found. Thanks for a great story. |

| That is so not good that Dawn said that. What always pisses me off though is that no one mentions that Buffy basically abused and "raped" Spike for months. She was so hot and cold and not meaning no when she said no ... that hell yeah it would confuse the hell out of any man. |

| Good ol Hank ... always the same. I hope that Buffy and Spike get through to each other. I personally don't see how Spike could have stayed away, but then again Angel and Buffy herself put so much doubt in him that yeah, it could happen. Nicely written. |

| Lots of emotions in this one. I loved Xander saying that Giles and Willow were in big trouble. You wrote Buffy's shock very well. I will admit that I skipped to the end of the story to skim it because I needed the happier endings today. So, I'm looking forward to seeing how we get to each part to reach the end. Then I'll hit the sequel. |
