| This was absolutely fabulous. I loved how Buffy walked in and informed everyone of exactly what was going on. I liked that they freed Wes, Fred, and Lorne. I really loved how protective Dana is and Dawn telling Angel that he was beneath Buffy was perfect. And I loved Andrew’s reaction to Spike being alive. Thanks for a great story. |

| I loved the surprise of Dawn being there, and how she greeted Dana was perfect. That was really a wonderful ritual, and I loved Dawn's way of letting Spike know that she wants a human ceremony for him and Buffy. |
| I had to bring Dawn back. It was fitting that she was in the second chapter and then to reemerge in the next to last chapter. I'm all for symmetry. And of course, Dawn wants the whole she-bang for her sis. |

hmmm... I liked it. My only complaint is that it feels just a bit rushed. Coulda mebbe padded it out a tic, added some more crazy Dana, given us the Spike called Dawn scene, things like that.
Yet, it was still an excellent chapter. |
Originally I decided to contain this story in 12 chapters. It was written for Seasonal Spuffy, and I didn't want it too long. That being the case, I wanted to focus on moving the story forward. Some stuff, like Spike or Clem calling Dawn, could easily be done off screen if you will. Besides, her appearance was written as a surprise for Buffy and for the reader.
As for exploring Dana's madness and eventual healing. Senaya's bonding with Dana only went so far. In the eventual sequel, I'll explore this more and what actually happened to her. Like I put in my previous response to your review of the previous chap, I'm loving this little universe I've created. Not sure I'm ready to let go quite yet. |

| PERFECT! This was an excellent ritual claiming. Unique slant on it, and very romantic. I like how she respected Dru's Sire marks. Her willingness to let him eradicate Angel's marks was even more perfect. It showed that she respected his link to his Sire, but that she had no respect or desire to have any mark of Angel remain on her. |

That was certainly a nice shower.
I love that Buffy is making sure that Spike knows how much he really means to her, that she initiated the claiming ritual erasing any doubt that she might not mean what she has been telling him. And what a beautiful ritual it was. |

Butting in with a comment on what you (Holly) said to Esther in your reply.....I always thought they could use a plot device like the famous Faith/Buffy body switch device or the reversal method using magic and have "Buffy" in a new body without altering canon a bit! Chapter 6 was cool. I love the whole ancient language communication. It puts them all on a different level, unique to just them. {Smiles} I like the Bruce character too. Just one thing tho....is there such a thing a as chinese lingo...I thought it was mandarin that was the major lingo but with a lot of variations but no 'real' chinese language. |

| Wonderful flash backs as well as moving the story forward. That was a nice way to show that she's moving along with the flight and arriving in LA ... but also showing us what happened before. I think you have the characters down excellently, as you always do. |
