Here I was laughing at another Angel dusting by the Red Wolf Co. and then Buffy and Spike are all alone and to top it all off, I have to wait for an update! Oh I like the Spike quotes from GotR Live CD. I know he had to of said them at sometime during the series but I don't remember which ones, I only know that they are on the CD. Here I'm saying a prayer that neither you nor your beta's become ill, no computer crashes and the server accepts your story on time. Impatiently watching for your update. Too bad the gang won't remember what's happened. We've had Oz dust Angel (or Angel dust himself depending on how you want to look at it). Who's next? I also love the fact that Buffy is the one who's all for the relationship and Spike is in denial. Its nice to see the reversal. A little concerned about Buffy going to bed and Spike waking up alone. Is that the effect you were going for or am I just a paranoid wanker? Oh by the way I'm so glad that Spike and Giles have developed a solid friendship - I always thought that if they could get over the animosity, they'd have a lot in common. They have now had so much time to get used to each other and them pulling away is only going to hurt them. But with that said, I just LOVE Giles and Spike relationship and the way he cut Buffy off on the drive. It's truly fabulous. I have to admit that Groundhog Day is one of my favourite films so the nods to it are great. This is really well written. I love the structure of a day per chapter and the fact that you're making the scoobies work through all their problems. And dusting Angel every chapter with no angst. ROFLMAO!! Even though she doesn't know why Dru would want it ... she realizes it and has no problem with it. Whoo hoo ... now to get Spike out of Egypt, and we'd all be fine. The way you went through a lot of things in the scene with Buffy, Spike, and Giles as a way to "Test" the reactions to what should and shouldn't be done was an excellent wrap up and seguay. A very creative way to put a lot of information into the story all at once and have the flow work. ROFL to Giles' line about Spike being a good impersonator ... the spoiled child routine. LOL. I hope they did something to keep Xander's memories. So they don't have to go through thta all again with Xander every day. it would make it easier for them. Yeah!! Another Angel dusting. LOL. That will teach Angelus to attack Spike. When all of this is over, I wonder how bad Angel's body is going to feel. It's been dusted so many times. That's a good one. I loved Pete calling Spike Lord Jamison. {grins} I know I told you guys that before, and I do love it. The whole scene at the magic shop in LA was priceless with the soul and the mating, etc. Them meeting Pike and Buffy seeing her father with another pregnant woman were great additions to the timeline. I felt sad for Buffy to see Hank like that. I'm glad that Spike allowed his more "WIlliam" side out to comfort Buffy. I absolutely adored the addition of Lorne into the mix. He fits so well, especially with what they needed to know. Spike's choice of song ... {sighs softly} ... I can just hear his voice singing it, and it gives me good goosebumps. A rememberence spell added to a mix of three other spells can have dire consequences. I'm gonna hazard a guess that the memory spell added to the mix somehow had a physical manistation as well so what they did also stayed to a certain level, yet everything still got reset. or something like that. so If Buffy went out robbed a bank, the money would still be with them the next day but it would also be back at the bank...well i'm speculating which I like to do.
