| leave it to Angel to push and push and push until he takes it too far. He definitely didn't get the answer that he wanted out of it. Excellent claiming. I know that some would love the ritualistic type way (which I know you touch on in the next chapter), but this kind of a claiming to start with was a way to show Angel and all demons how serious she was. That she wasn't going to let anyone stand in the way of having the one she loved. It was the necessary link to get through to Angel that she was no longer his. |

| Buffy is still so much like Buffy. I loved her inner monologue about Piglet, Mr. Gordo and Wilbur. LOL. That was precious. The primal dance between Spike and Buffy at the end was excellently written. |

| Spike and Buffy are working through everything so well. They are both on an even keel. I like how Spike is able to calm her and help her get through everything. Even though he doesn't realize what he is doing to be helpful, he's being helpful just by being there without being judgmental. Bravo. |

| It so broke my heart when Spike came back to the crypt. Excellent argument with Giles and Spike. Buffy forgetting about the daylight ... nice touch. Like I said, it broke my heart in a cry worthy way because your descriptions were so good that I could picture it all in my head. I could see her on the crypt floor by the door. |

| You have touched on Spike's snarkiness and tenderness perfectly. He was such a mixture of human and vampire. I know some people were upset in Season 7 because Spike wasn't hugely changed with the soul. I always took that as a compliment ... it showed that Spike had more humanity in him without a soul than Angel did with one. You write those aspects of Spike well in this Season 5 fic. |

| Such a tentative start. You wrote this really well. Things moved along with the intimacy, but you deal with all of the issues still that Buffy is facing, her uncertainty. Her and Spike are both so "cute" in this. |

| I don't watch the West Wing much (only a couple episodes here and there when Martin Sheen was on it), but I did like how you ended this chapter. It was a little cliffie, but it was also a bit of foreshadow. It gave me something to look forward to in the next chapter without making me growl at the ending of the current chapter. |

| I love a vamped Buffy, but if Riley had just listened to Spike instead of being his usual ass self ... this never would have happened. Stupid Riley. Excellent conversation with Spike and Giles. I always thought those two could have a good comraderie if they got past the whole Vamp/Watcher thing. |

| You took this challenge, and you made it your own as much as Scheh did her version of things. I loved this fic, and I still love reading it. You expanded the whole Dracula thing for the show, and you gave it a real depth that the show did not truly touch upon. |
