| I like all the twists and turns in this darker story. I usually dislike Xander but I'm happy to read this newer improved version of him. Tara...well that's interesting and I'm looking forward to reading more. |

| AARGH! This is a really dark story. Tara's gone dark and vengeful, Anya still herself at least, but the town is being run by a vampire with Dawn's powers and the hit squad are ensconced. |

| I liked it! Had to back to reread ch 5 to remember the sitch, but then I was immediately on board. So, new watcher in town and she brought muscle? This vamp with Dawn's keyness and Willow's magic is going to be a hard nut to crack, I think. And harder, tougher Tara is an interesting twist. Will watch what you do with her with interest. |

Oh wow, I love the character development of Xander and Anya...I can't stand him either, but your characterization of him is great...and can Anya kick any more butt? I always wondered why they didn't coat the stakes in holy water! I like the fact that Xander has become the person in charge. He had possibility that was never fully realized on the show. Excellent Update

I somehow missed this when you first started posting, and just caught it today, and I must say, I'm horrified and upset and grieving and fascinated and intrigued...Gemma seems very real, Tara completely different from anything ever seen on the show (and yes, I agree with Megan, kinda unlikeable, but that's understandable and okay) and Xander and Anya and their noticeable changes as well...Wow. CoW boys helping, with orders to assist instead of destroy the Slayer...wow. And so, pleading, on bended knee, please update soon? This is so original, and something completely different...but also fantastic in it's own right...so, yeah, more, as soon as you can possibly deliver.... |

Uh oh ... that is sooooo not good. Spike and Buffy are going to have their hands full trying to kill this new vampire. What if Glory gets her hands on the vampire or can get him on her side? Egads ... this is definitely not good.
Excellent start to the story. Curious to see where you head next with it.

Wow, that was a really interesting twist. Never saw that coming at all. But I thought the key had to be something pure, that a vamp couldn't be the key? But it's fanfiction. Anywho, really like this first chapter and hope to see more soon!
