that was a great chapter...personally, i love andrew  i would love to see him and dawn get together...glad buffy is going to help them, cant wait to see her reunited with spike ;) |

| I completely understand Buffy not contacting Spike, from what she has seen and heard he has moved on and with her issues it would be easier for her not to be told by him, as she was by Angel, to stay out of his life. When she found out that Andrew had seen him I would think that along with telling her that Spike said he would call he also told her that Spike asked that Andrew not tell Buffy that he was back. Buffy recognizes that she had a very abusive relationship with Spike, and although they were in a much better place and she had told him how she really felt about him before he died, he didn’t seem to believe her. Even if it is subconscious, she might feel that he thinks he is better off not being around her, and that coupled with her fear of rejection and her not wanting it to be confirmed that he doesn’t believe that she loves him is why it makes sense that she would want him to contact her. I’m not saying it’s a smart move on her part or where you were going with this, but it makes sense to me and is what I read into this. I really enjoyed the update and that it allowed me to think about why Buffy would react a certain way given the parameters that you set up. Also I love the name you chose for the Immortal and how well its meaning fits. |
| Thankyou, that was exactly what I was going for! Yay, I'm glad someone got that .I think Buffy would have seen it as the ultimate rejection- one of her biggest fears because every man in her life seems to leave(in my opinion anyhu). And she also has a lot of pride, which is probably the main reason she couldn't face him- being rejectewd face to face would've been worse. At least by not seeing him she could hang onto something. Yeh, I spent ages looking through baby names to find an Italian name that would fit him- The Immortal is a bit of a mouthful lol. |

| You managed to convey Buffy's pain and grief very clearly. I loved how Dawn and Willow came in and offered her what comfort they could. |
| thankyou. I actually got the idea for Dawn and Willow from an episode of Charmed, when Phoebe had to kill her bf, and her sisters comfort her on the bed. I'm glad you liked it! |
