Very good emotional fic. It had a personal importance to me because in June of 1995 I was diagnosed with cancer a month before my wedding. By April of 2006 I was blessedly cancer free. Although I've had a few scares where they thought it was back, I've been in remission for 10 years now. So, this fic touched my heart. I am glad that I never had to get to that point where you had to say your last goodbyes, but I can tell you that the thought is very scary, even if you have the hope of getting well.
This was an excellently written fic. |

| A wonderful take on that Angel episode. So totally unlike Angel to want anything good for Spike, and especially when it's Buffy. |

Buffy is simply "stopping by"? That sounds indeed a bit strange. Mmm Buffy is ill? Oh she said she is dying. And apparently the had contact via telephone before. ~ And Spike gave Angel an idea, and not the turning one. I wonder what it is. Empty pool? The PTBs... Uh-huh... the trials are hard. The first was almost easy against the second one, but the third? That's very hard indeed. So Spike has to give his life and Buffy has to watch. Phew! Just as I hoped, the decision to go through with it was enough. Or not as it seems.. problems again? But Jeeves did give in. I forgot about the clause. Good that Spike was too stubborn to let Buffy go even if he took his time to catch her  Loved it. |
