| oh wow - what a completely fantastic story. I too have been reading you for years - i have a whole binder with your stuff. I am so pleased to see that you are still writing - you have improved more and more over the years - your writing just gets better. This story was simply wonderful. thank you so much for letting Buffy get pissed off and telling the damn scoobies off. Although Giles was pretty harsh throughout the story until the end, which was surprising. Those scoobies are always so clueless - and the show really did a disservice by having buffy come back so traumatized and then immediately having her get back to slaying - it was so awful. Love this story Chelle - I hope you keep on writing for a long time. I would love to see a sequel to this one. thank you for sharing your talent with us. |

| Phew! Good to read Dawn made Spike coming back. And he now realized that he'll be bound to Buffy for a bit longer than he first thought. Well or not. Turns out the bond wasn't really a bond. Loved made her stay and not get teleported. ~ Loved the end! So not healing powers any longer and no long life for Buffy. Returning to heaven one day. Though I hope Buffy will live as long as Spike but I think it will be the other way around. Nice of Spike to give Spike roots too, being a real person with a passport etc. ~ Loved reading this one! |

Great chapter!! And that makes total sense, that her body might have been renewed like that. I've seen the idea only a couple times before.
And Spike running out the door without his clothes...so totally fitting...he would so do that without thinking, but I think he's a bit embarassed now. And that elderly woman won't be forgetting THAT sight any time soon!
And Yay, he has a sunlight charm!
Very glad that Buffy realized she's into him, too. Didn't want things to be one sided. |

| Well, I had a huge "Duh!" moment in my other review. I don't even know why I thought Belzor was the one who could tell her who to kill now. I guess it's because Bob is a shapeshifter and made himself look like Belzor when she first met him. Anyway, doesn't matter. Forget my last review. This one was a great chapter. I love that she wasn't as nasty to Spike at the end of the chapter. I guess having $100 000 in your purse puts you in a good mood lol. It's great that she opened up a little. A step in the right direction. |

Maybe I'm biased, but I'd really want to tell all of the scoobies esspecially Giles and Xander "Fuck you all to hell".
People see what they want to see, but blindness has a limit. And how can they be so cruel? Yes they have their own problems and frustrations and they snap. But they snap to Spike who I love very much so they can all go to hell.
Please let this fic have a hellish end.

Mmm BOB. I wonder what's the what with his offer. A life long contract? This is too good to be true. But Buffy didn't burn the scroll yet.
This is the last chapter for today, it is late. But the story isn't finished even it is listed as finished or am I wrong? Because: The end is in sight, folks! Thank you so much for reading this so far. I'll try to finish it up and post the rest this weekend. *scratches head* |

I am enjoying this story. Very good Buffy characterization. I like the way you have Giles leaving. For such a good reason but even that Buffy cannot understand. The Giles/Spike conversation was just hillarious "Sold. I'm a Watcher.
"You're a 'Looker After'. You're a 'Seeing Eye Vampire'. You're not quite a Watcher."
Very funny dialogue. Looking forward to the rest of the story. |

Very cool. I haven't seen Watcher!Spike (kinda) in this timeframe before. I'm really looking forward to that. I like the Giles stuff here too, and I hope there's more of that coming.
Buffy is messed up - so are some of the others - and I'm eager to see how Spike will fit into the mix given his mandate from Giles. |

| Willow takes magic to easy indeed. Good she changed her mind of doing the spell. "I'm sorry my being back from the dead isn't everything you'd hoped it would be, Willow. Maybe you should return me and get a refund. Buffy hit the target. Not very funny but right. And very hard news for Buffy. Giles will leave her do; she didn't expect it. |

| That was so sad for Buffy. At least he's got a better reason that he had on the show. But I still think it's cruel of him to leave her, and unfair. He has a responsibility to his Slayer and should put his foot down and try to make Olivia change her mind. They don't even have to live in Sunnydale, they could live nearby so he could be there when Buffy needs him. For God's sake, she just died and come back! So sad. Good chapter. |
