| Wow! I love this fic! I'm so going to read the sequel! The only thing is, where the hell was Dawn when all of this happen? How did she disappear? I'm assuming she exists in this fic since Buffy jumped of the tower and everything. So yeah, that's the only thing I didn't like about this fic other than that it was awesome! |
| Nope - sorry, love. No Dawn. Not at all in this fic. Why did Buffy jump? don't have a clue, but not because of Dawn. My reasoning behind it is simply just because. I do have her in other fics, though. And I'm glad you liked the story inspite of the Dawn lackage. |

| Oh so good, I loved the Angel/Spike interaction and Angel's sad acceptance of Buffy and Spike as well as his realization that he now had a family again. I love how you portray Buffy and Spike’s relationship and the fun that is in it. I have really enjoyed this story and I am looking forward to the sequel. |
| I think Angel's isolation caused a lot of his problems and issues. A sense of family can insulate you against the worst that life has to offer. I hope you like what's in store for them all. |

| I really like that Xander realized some truths and has promised to stop going off like he usually does. I'm really glad that Buffy spoke up for herself and told Giles exactly how she felt about him leaving and that she told them that she wants to try to change her attitude around Spike. Ah, finally, Buffy speaks some truths...
Xander did his best at trying to be mature here...
Tara will become more in the group now, if they'll let her. She's not just "Willow's girlfriend" anymore.
About time for Buffy to get that hurt out for Giles to see. That festered and festered all the way to the end of the show, because he only showed up again for saving the world purposes. He was a coward for not respecting the father/daughter relationship that they had forged.
And Spike definitely has his crumb...what's she gonna do with him back in the bedroom, hmmm? Finish the convo, or...
And I'm also glad they realize how psycho Willow's become. Deal with her now before she kills someone. |

Very odd that being hit with Willow's fire ball turned Buffy back into a little girl. Very odd, indeed.
Xander really is an asshole in this one.
5-year-old Buffy picked up where she'd left off, having all those memories...if the fire ball had glanced off Spike, would he be a kid, too? Big cuddly vamp-bear...the perfect pillow. |
T'was a combo of the pain, and the lingering magicks. It's a good thing it didn't hit Spike... he'd have gone up like a piece of paper.

| Spike really has a way to go to be able to trust that the feelings of Giles and Buffy have changed towards him and that Tara also cares for him. They have already made positive steps and I hope that it continues. I am really enjoying this story and hope you update soon. |

| Just stumbled across this fic and was absolutely blown away. This is one of the most original and well executed ideas for a story that I have ever seen. Neat way of addressing the question of a demon without a soul who feels and wants to do better. Just fantastic. And the cute, awww factor doesn't hurt either. Please hurry and update 'cos I'm already seriously addicted to this story and will need a fix soon. |
Pssst. Don't tell anyone... but there's a sequel coming right on the heels of this one.

I've read this story over on The Crypt -- it's one of my very favorites. I'm glad you are posting it here, too - cause I find it easier to read the formatting here, and this is one of my favorites. I re-read it every couple of months or so.
