You need to read the last word in the poem...she, the bringer of death is a female, there is only one bringer of death that is always female, she is the assigned Vampire Slayer so for them she is th bringer of death, and she feels no remorse because as far as she is concerned they are all evil. really quite simple. So slayer crying over v\mp is cure, not Buffy but slayer right? So um...does this mean Spike is cured now because Slayer crying over fading Vampire. Besides how the bloody hell are they going to find the female liliac demon, look at the crotch and decide one by one? And it's rare for a slayer to love a vamp. In other words, for Spike to be cure,Buffy must cry over his body. But not buffy Buffy. The SLayer demon that makes up part of her mustdo it. You have this spot on for Willow's character and attitude. I would have loved to have seen the look on Angel's face when William/Spike did not respond to his "Sire's" voice. Update Soon Harry. Good point on the chip human/vampire compatibility question. This is one of the anomilies we find in Jossverse. For a human to be considered dead, all brain activity ceases. However, for a micro chip to work by causing electrical impulses to the pain centres of the brain, 1: the brain would need to be producing electricity, ie. working, and 2: the pain centres would only work as part of a funtioning or partially functioning brain. Learning about the missing day should finally put to rights her feelings for Angel, and what they'd had - rather, what she'd had in the relationship, since her feelings came from a different place than his. Giles knowing the familial relation all along, and yet, treating Spike that way? I don't suppose sire's blood would be helpful, since Spike's body is functioning as human now... You need to remember that without the soul there is no familial link. The demon is not related to Giles. The fact that he knew what she was (since Dru informed him) and continued on ... was juat abominable. It would have been different if Angelus was willing to take a Slayer head on. He wasn't. He went after a potential who would be weaker ... to try to prove his "manliness". That's wrong and cowardly. Go Giles with his support of William's and Anya's hypothesis that Angel had 100 years to find out about the curse. He's right, they did find the information in a matter of weeks. Imagine how different things could have been if season 4 had progressed along these lines - of course it would never actually be allowed to happen in the Whedonverse (Joss & co seem to prefer people remain tortured, if not by others then due to their own ignorance). Really satisfying to see Xander get called on the hyena-rape incident (he soooo got away scot-free with that) and to see Anya getting some recognition for her accumulated knowledge (sure she was naive in the ways of being human after 1000+ years out of practice but she could NOT have been completely clueless to survive that long). Angel did what he did to a essentially normal girl and Spike took on a full Slayer in a fair fight. Anya's attitude towards magic is the exact opposite of Willow's and much smarter. William's way of getting Anya to tone down the sex talk is much better than Xander's insensitive shushing. They're gonna have a hard time getting Angel to believe what happened in the last three years. And an even harder time getting him to remove a claim that he doesn't remember making or that he might not admit to if he did remember. I'm sure she meant 3 days, or something. Even Willow would know that erasing 3 years would make her life way too difficult, since she wouldn't know anything about college, etc. And actually, 3 calender years back from this point in 1999 puts them at fall of '96, and Willow wouldn't know Buffy, yet. Buffy didn't come to Sunnydale until Spring. To go back to just before Buffy died at the hands of the Master? What was Willow thinking of? This could actually be advantageous when dealing with Angel, though. They could leave him that way and fill him in with memories they want him to have, instead, and send him on his way back to Cordy and Doyle. Eh...that'd be too difficult, too. They could leave Willow this way, though, and re-educate her. Make sure she doesn't take the same path? Let her be college girl without all the magic attempts in mind.... William's point for Anya was well-said...she needed human things explained in a way she could relate to again. And finally, the blinkers are off Buffy... It's odd I actually find the vindictive hell bent on some misguided revenge Xander closer to cannon than accepting Xander. Willow always confuses me, she's sweet kid but also a quick fix Willow and not really learn from mistakes Willow so it can go really any place with her. Hasn't anyone told her that owning up and making sure you don't do anything similar is more appreciated than hiding and supergluing everything and hope no one notices. Kind of like little kids who accidently broke her mums favourite vase like that. I seriously hope she doesn't try to fix things she'll probably end up messing things up much worse than ever before. Cool so Spike is now kinda like the Slayer, Perfect for her, exactly what Angel wanted for her, someone Human who she doesn't have to worry about when she's on patrol....Won't Angel be pleased...lol So Lawson actually made an appereance on Angel season 5? Did he have a soul on that one? or was it something you added. Poor Sod, does that mean it was really Angels father who used his sons body to sleep with her? because that is seriously twisted...lol Well can't wait to read more...good luck with the updates of three fics and the co-write you are doing. Loving it Update Soon Harry Lawson asked Angel if he had a soul and Angel said 'I don't think it works that way'. There was no definative answer. But then Angel never mentioned Spike's soul.
