Woman, I absolutely adore you, and everything you write. I love Buffy and Spike together, watching you make them grow into a relationship, weaving their complex personalities into something better, that's united, and in the end, making them stronger as a couple. I detest Buffy bashing, she was a child thrust into an untennable situation against absolute evil,and you get that,we don't have enough heros,it's lovely to be able to immerse oneself in a good story and you do it every time madam, you draw us in and make us care about the characters and happily watch them grow. Thank you for your stories,you must be a romantic at heart,and I hope you continue to tell your stories for a long time to come.

What!! Amazing cliffhanger ending line. Love the story anyway, but now I can't wait for the next chapter. Glad to see that you are back at work on this one - I thought the first few chapters were really great and captured a very differnt perspective on their potential relationship. I recall the vampire escort to the hospital as an amazing image and can't wait to see what you do next - and how Angel is punish by Spike. THanks!

Wow, good chapter. There were a lot of thoughtful concentrations and powerful emotions in this one. The aspects of both Spike and Angel reflecting on the previous 3 chapters was intense.
