I'd like to think that Buffy would tell Angel in person rather than over the phone... and giving him the benefit of the doubt rather than having him being the self-centred, unsympathetic git that I think he really is... that he would care about his grandchilde's passing nd offer Buffy some sympathy in her grief.

awwww...that was very touching...i think that's a veyr good portrayal of what angel's feelings would have been (all delightfully fun angel-bashing aside hehe)...i love how they were able to help each other through their grief, and that ending was very good...great job
Thank you! But Angel bashing is such fun! LOL. This was me trying to set aside my intense dislike of Angel and give him the benefit of the doubt that he MAY actually be a good person/vampire afterall. So, working on that theory, in my happy little world this time when Spike comes back Angel will let Buffy know.
