I just found your story, and I wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying it. My favorite stories are in the early seasons before everything went so terribly wrong. And a claimed Slayer and Vamp is all to the good for me. I am intrigued to see Ethan. I hope that he stays around. I really enjoy a protective Spike. I know that Buffy can take care of herself, but she still needs a protector. Someone she can count on. I don't really care for Xander, but if you can redeem him, I say go for it. I hope he comes around. I can't wait to see more of this fic.

Yes, I enjoy early season Spuffy too. Ethan is a LOT of fun to write and yes I am pretty sure he will be sticking around... at least for a while yet. I like protective Spike and Buffy... I love them taking care of each other. Xander is definitely not one of my favourite characters but he does have some redeeming qualities and if he grows up a little and stops acting like a complete arse he can be alright... I am hoping he will come around but what I want and what the muse wants aren't always the same thing LOL.

Yes, he is willing to make a lot of changes for her--he is and always will be love's bitch--but he won't be walked over and he IS still season 2 unchipped and very dangerous Spike... it also helps that by the same token this is not such a hardhearted and closed off Buffy as we saw in the later seasons. |

| Dang ... Giles got himself captured again, eh? Here he was thinking that he was going to rush to Buffy's rescue, and he ends up getting the crap kicked out of him and more than likely captured again for Angelus' torture?
Good chapter. Hope to see a continuation from what was going on in the house before this chapter. Also look forward to see what happens with Giles.

| WAAAHHH...Didja reaaly have t' stop there? JK, sweetie. I like this. It's sweet and easy to get into. I like they way the story flows, moving at a steady pace without being rushed. Of, course, if the next chappie gets here fairly soonish, I wouldn't object...lol |

| I love that vamp! Having Spike's baby...let alone the process of conceiving that baby would totally not be a duty for me...hehe. You kick ass sweetie!! | Awesome update! Nice back and forth between them as they try to make sense of the whole mess they are now in. I wonder what they will do when they do the claim and things might develop further. I like how you made sure to bring up the will it make me love you comment. That is taken care of right off the bat. That way if they do feel anything else, they'll realize it wasn't the claim that did it. {Smiles}

| Geez! What a cruel place to leave it...and did I see you write earlier on the tag that you are into chap 3? Actually, I really liked the maturity of Spike wanting to calm things and get things on to na honest footing. You handled the prophecy in a very believable way--which is so hard to do with a challenge like this. I am dying for the next chapter. |

| I wonder if Giles just doesn't realize what the heck they will feel if they claim each other and how the marriage claim things really works - or if he is lying to his slayer (or himself) intriguing start to the ficcie! |
| Well the claim is really not much more than a commitment... but one that is quite binding, especially to Spike with his ingrained Victorian values! Everyone writes a claim differently (and as it is a made up thing and has no basis in canon that's fair enough) and I don't tend to go for it manipulating their feelings in anyway... I prefer their feelings to be their own, otherwise they don't really mean that much. |

| great story! Its nice to see how you are bringing in the Ripper's past as well as meeting the requirements for the challenge (ie. claiming and baby). I am dying to know what big bad is coming in addition to Acatha! Please update soon! |

| Another great response to Challenge 64. This is really making me itch to get my Challenge 64 story up. Thankfully my ideas and timelines are still safe from any form of likeness. {Smiles} The two stories that are started are great, but I have read them just to make sure that the ideas I have aren't just going to be repeats of what you two have. If we had the same ideas, I just wouldn't write my story.
