OMG!!! This is incredibly moving, angsty, hilarious, suspenseful and entertaining! You have hit the jackpot with this one! Your take on the challenge posted by Karbear is just phenomenal. So original, so fresh, so smart and sassy. I love it!
I love the direction you have chosen to go with the deceit by the scoobies, the rift between them and Buffy, and the lengths to which they would go to obtain information on Wolfram & Hart.
The fake Buffy, with Buffy's actual memories is so sickening of an idea that it's perfect for this fic! And the sexual proclivities of the fake Buffy just make me want to heave. My god, how is Buffy ever going to face them again? Oh man, oh man. Wonderful shocker!
Your Whistler characterization is just spot on. Same goes for Buffy. You really get into their skin.
I can't wait to see how this gets worse before it gets better. Phenomenal beginning! I can't remember the last time a fic has intrigued and excited me so much just from the first chapter. Great job!

Wow Tam ... powerful emotions ... good flashbacks. I like how Whistler got fed up with it and they sent Joyce. {chuckles} I am VERY eager to see what the next chapter will have in it.
I'm slightly confused as to where in the Angel timeline this is. You mention that he thinks she's moved on with the Immortal, but then you mention that they are heading to Rome. So they just know about the Immortal, but they haven't seen her dancing with him in Rome yet, or is this a secnod trip? Just curious. {Smiles}

WOW TAM! This story is ocmpletly fab! I cen't believe Willow considered taking away those 'pesky memories' of her. I hope she gets hurt really bad. Really really bad! Love how Buffy got out of there and ran into Clem, he is such a fun character. Fake Buffy with fake memories LOLOLOL priceless, I cannot wait to see the confrontation that is coming next. And all the scoobies, LOLOLOL like that was not a sign of something wrong, geesh! Dogma reference was wonderful! And loved the not in heaven/Joyce scenes. So sweet.... so all in all loved the story and so need to know what happens next... such a mean cliff hanger! Update soon please!

I'm still laughing here at the picture of Spike and Buffy collapsing on the ground when the vent did. Her having the orgasm of all orgasms when he is pushed so hard into her on impact ... Whew ... hot stuff. That is one heck of a feeling, I can tell you.
Anyways, how stupid is Angel for not being able to tell that the Buffy in front of him was a fake? Sheesh, what an idiot. Shows just who Buffy really does belong with, and it is certainly not Angel.
I liked the ties to School Hard with the dialogue and her being in the ceiling. That was a sweet link. Glad to see our two lovers together. Now to find out just who they are going to believe is the real Buffy, etc.

Man, now I wished that I worked in a building w/the big ventilation system that I could get stuck in w/Spike....oh wait, I would need to wish for Spike too...(sigh)...Buffy is a lucky, lucky girl!
I am really surprised that Angel didn't realize that the imposter wasn't Buffy but then again, he doesn't breathe unless he doesn't have to and also, everything revolves around Angel, and he didn't WANT to see that it wasn't Buffy. I can't wait for everyone's reactions in the next chapter! Will we see Buffy and Spike making a run for it and disappearing somewhere?

Now THAT was a reunion!!! OMG, that was the absofreakinlutely BEST Spuffy reunion I have seen EVER! The most creative, the hottest, the smartest use of canon, the sweetest, the most exciting, the BEST!
I love this story with a passion. Spike's immediate knowledge that the Buffy imposter wasn't Buffy, and his immediate sensory reaction to Buffy's unique scent, had me squeeing and bouncing in my chair. The following scene in the hallway, with the infusion of the wonderful scene from School Hard, was just perfect!
The crashing through the ceiling and THIRD orgasm of Buffy's was true smutty Spuffy. Those crazy, pervy kids will get it on anywhere, lol.
If you want to just continue this story forever and ever, I will not be disappointed. I love everything about this story - your characterization, the dialogue, the imagery, the sex. All of it is just...wow.

Can't wait to see just how much more lies Buffy brings out about the new COuncil seeing as they gave the Immortal his translation, and it is very close tothe original. Someone kick Kennedy's ass. LOL. I hate that girl. Even after Buffy pointed out about what would they feel like if someone took the memories of their lost love away ... they still acted like idiots. Go Buffy to give them a huge smack down. I look forward to seeing what happens with Dawn in all of this. {Smiles} She's here now, and I wonder who she's going to be smacking herself.

Yeah! Dawn's arrived! Now everyone's together! She sounded mad, so might I assume that she didn't know what was going on either? Spike and his Nibblet are reunited! Buffy's not gonna be hating Dawn, is she? Let's have a big sister reunion, alright?!

This just got even better. I can't wait to see what they've come up with next. Buffy called Dawn a traitor in a previous chapter. I wonder if that was for the original outing her from her own home, or did Dawn try to have Buffy brainwashed as well? Well... at least she didn't sleep with the clone.

That update Rocked!!! That was so kick butt. Anya being back courtesy of D'Hoffryn, priceless and original to a tee. I LOVED that part. I also loved the telling off of Xander, etc. Dawn kicked some major ass, and I was rolling with laughter and cheering her on the whole way.

Chapter One - I absoltulty rolled with this! This line was the best - "“Her morals turned out to be sort of iffy, too.
