| I just came across this story. I had read Evolution, or most of it before. Today I remembered it and read the rest. Then I found this story, and somewhat pathetically, read this whole story in one day. Which I guess is a complement to you, shows how captivating your writing really is. I loved the whole thing. And I have always been a huge fan of the Buffy/Giles father/daughter love, and I thought the dialogue in the beginning of this chapter was some of the best I've read between them, very moving. But your work was truly amazing. Thank you. |

| That was touching. I loved the flashbacks and wasn't the least bit confused or distracted from the story. As a matter of fact, I thought they enhanced it. I'd like to hope that someday Buffy will be released from her duty and she and Spike will finally be able to rest in peace with those they love. |

| WOW! I just love this story. Drusilla and Angelus are going to build an army? I don’t think that Drusilla is letting on everything she is seeing. Poor Spike, I’m sure once Buffy gets in the right set of mind she would notice what is different with him. |

| Awww ... I don't know whether to rejoice with Spike and Buffy or weep. Excellent story update. I love this one. Very good flashbacks and emotions. I think Xander having a photographic memory is a nice touch. It would come in handy for him too being in the demon library. Now he can take the knowledge of the books with him from the witch library even if he can't have copies. |

| Love the story, De. I think you work in the flashbacks well at key moments of time. Sometimes I go back and reread the chapter to be sure I got what you meant, but they're good. I like the little hints. Hope Spike kicks Angelus' arse. Buffy is Spike's mate and even Angelus can't mess with that. |
