| This is beautiful. I love that Buffy took such care to get Spike fixed up and comfortable. I really liked the idea of her and Clem fixing the crypt back up. And I really loved how Buffy gave of herself, not just with the blood, but with the comfort. |

Every time I read this, it brings tears to my eyes...my heart breaks for the both of them, and I cannot help but be dragged in, kicking and screaming, into the depths of their passion and need for each other...the sonnet is perfectly fitting, and the emotions so delicately written that all I can say is...huh, I hope that I can write like that some day....

| A very nice, tender ficlet. A good parallel to Buffy's previous methods of ignoring Spike or beating him up. Forgiveness is more becoming to her. I'm glad Spike got a little 'taste' of this future. |

Aww, that was lovely, very sweet and hot at the same time.  Very nice.
Only thing i noticed- the chip doesn't work on Buffy- hasnt since she returned remember? So this line- """No pain from the chip, and for that he was thankful. He didn’t want to hurt her. Perhaps the chip knew that""" didn't really need to be there! It doesn't matter, just a little thing i noticed.
Apart from that it was wonderful! Loved. More would be great- but then thats just coz i'm always searching for long fics
