| Interesting beginning! I like how you had Spike end the relationship with Harmony. It was a nice change from what you’d normally get in fics – Spike being hurtful. I feel really sorry for him, you’ve done a fabulous job of constructing how alone he is. |

knowing what happened to buffy when she got stung by that thing, i don't think it's going to be the break he's expecting...you've made me feel his loneliness, his pain, so well already, i am already well involved in this story...can't believe i haven't started it til now  |

| wow - the first chapter of this story was really good - you made me feel sympathy for Spike abd really got into his emotions of how he would feel and what his thoughts would be. excellant porttayl of why he wouldfight fot the forces of good. Great start! |
