| Yeah I also like my Spike a little bad, lol. (Ok, well, I do have a soft spot for souled Spike as well, but even then he has his characteristic snarkiness.) And I can guarantee there will be no whipped puppy Spike in this fic either. I envisioned Spike starting off as what we saw in School Hard, just totally bad ass and wanting to stir things up. But of course, some feelings are bound to develop.... Though I want to keep that banter and heat between Spike and Buffy, and I want them to remain on equal footing as much as possible in this fic. | Oh I'm so sorry I missed the last couple chapters when you posted them. They were absolute masterpieces, each one. The way you write Spike is so reflective of his persona throughout the series. Seductive, intuitive, and just damn sexy. Your Buffy is vulnerable but still has cheek that will serve her well in the rematch that I just can't wait to see. Great work on this story. |

| Wow... I'm... Hmmm, what am I? Awed? Yes. Surprised? Yes, somewhat. Confused? Again, a bit. Excited, definitely.
When I first started to read this story, I thought it was going to be a very dark, angsty fic. Then, by the end of chapter three, I'd decided that it was actually going to be a very short, dark and angsty fic. Then, we got to chapter four and there was some heavy sex. Not all fluffy, romantic stuff. Still all with the Spike in control (even though he allowed Buffy some choice, he still retained control). Yet, he was very careful to give Buffy a mind-blowing time while getting exactly what he wanted from the coupling...
And it's just that... he appears to have gotten just what he wanted from the encounter, when I'd thought he was going to take this to a whole other conclusion. Now, I'm not sure if that was just my tinglies going off half-cocked, or whether I've been duped by the author. *sighs* I suppose I'll have to tune in, same time, same place next week to find out. Gaaarghh |
