can't the scar 'activate' again after he comes back from the amulet thing? OMG. It's the cure-all!

Thank you...It's one of my favorite works...
The scar could activate, except when Buffy "died" in s5, the pact was considered complete, so neither one of them have the scars anymore...

| Beautifully written, there was poetry in the lines. But so sorrowful & bittersweet. You really provoke strong emotions in every chapter - there was such longing here, I could almost cry. Well done, Sweetheart. |

| this was a great story; a different twist on things. however, i think you should have a maximum angst warning attached to it. i was so sad reading it, even with the hotness that is spuffy. so sad - wahhh - why can't they ever just get to be together?? sniff - god. but again, wonderfully written story, thanks so much for writing it. |

| I waited to read this until it was finished and I can't tell you how glad I am that I did. It was lovely. You did an excellent job of blending your remarkable story idea with canon and making it work for five seasons. I love the slow build up of Spike's love, the way he fought it in the beginning. I love Buffy's recognizing how much he's been to her and telling him - even if she did think he wasn't listening. A lovely, sad but beautiful ending to a great series. |

| That was gorgeous, beautiful, and so sad! Know how it ends, and this just made that little scene more real. In my mind, that's exactly what Buffy was thinking before the end. Wonderful job, and I'm totally gonna miss this fic. And thank you for writing such a beautiful Spuffy story. |

| Great story, just a few chapters that spand the entire BtVS series and really does it well. I'm almost hoping for a sequel set after this.
