after all that had happened with Spike and Wood in Sunnydale, she still instinctively reached out to Giles in moments of crisis. The answer was simple – she had nobody else. If you don't feel sorry for Buffy after that ...
Yeah; he's the nearest she has to a father and really, for the bulk of her adult life she's been able to just know he'd be there to catch her. I always wanted to restore that relationship - so I have! And I love Buffy; I know she treated Spike badly but it takes two to tango and in my mind I believe they would have worked it out. Thanks for reading.
