| Loved the one, Rae. I'd love to see a sequel for it. You proved how well Spike can be fit into earlier episodes than his "official" arrival without changing canon. I love to change canon to make it Spuffier, and you succeeded in giving us a taste of Spike while also keeping it canon. That is harder to do. Bravo! |

| I like bad vamp Spike with his big heart underneath! I tried my best to stay true to canon but have Spike there and witness his first stirrings of something for Buffy even though at this point its only lust. Thanks for the wonderful review! |

| I hope there's a sequel. Just don't turn Spike into the lovesick wimp Whedon was so fond of. Even though he's evil, Spike is a warrior and earned the title "The Slayer of Slayers" because of that. He's one of the most lethal and most feared vampires in history. (Whedon seemed to forget that after S2)
"I lock my second best girl up in an old factory to keep her safe from prying eyes " - is that a reference to Dawn? It would definitely make more sense to have Spike protect the key than a self-centered slayer who only survived Spike's tries to kill her because her friends saved her ass (several times). Plus Spike would do absolutely anything to protect Dawn whereas Buffy spared Ben, knowing full well that Glory wouldn't just leave her alone (or she was too stupid to realize it, either way, it proves that the monks should have chose someone else). |
