Love the story, De. I think you work in the flashbacks well at key moments of time. Sometimes I go back and reread the chapter to be sure I got what you meant, but they're good. I like the little hints. Hope Spike kicks Angelus' arse. Buffy is Spike's mate and even Angelus can't mess with that.

OMG! Buffy is going to have to go back into super-slayer mode once Spike manages to get her sane. It's hard to believe that after all those years and all the death and life that she has seen, she is still an emotional teenager, at best. More story please.

Love the flashbacks, mos of them anyway. Now things seems to be heating up a bit, should be interesting to see what will happen next.
