wow willow can be scary! lol excellent explanation for riley and that whole fiasco! love it!! great chapter |
Hee! Thanks! Well, I figured if Riley got the shovel speech, she wouldn't let Spike off with a free pass. Glad you liked the explanation. There really was no excuse for the special effects department to pass those things off as babies of the big demon, unless they did it deliberately to allow wiggle room later. There was just no way those baby 'crabs' were going to grow into adults that looked like the ones we saw.

LMAO - I loved this chapter! This was really great - i loved xander's disbelief that riley could be the bad guy and willow was great in this chapter - flashes of who she was coming through as a reminder of why we loved her (I actually love willow - good willow, bad willow she is one of my fav characters!)
Thanks, honey!
Xander always did wear rose coloured spectacles when it came to Riley... so much so that long before he was inviting Willow to 'gay him up'... well, you know what I mean.
And hopefully you'll approve of what happens with Willow as the story progresses. |

I just love this sooooo much. This fic is proof you can't get too much of a good thing.
Thank you! I'm glad you see it that way.

love the story. great update. is xander ever going to be anything but dumber than a box of rocks. thanks for the story.
Eventually, somewhere around the fifth book maybe... He does gradually improve as the series goes on, but if the progress was too rapid it wouldn't be believable.

{chuckles} Sometimes talking to Xander is like talking to a brick wall. Doofus. {Shakes her head} You just want to strangle the guy sometimes. Excellent chapter update!!
Xander takes a little time to fully absorb anything that changes his world view, especially when it comes to those people he's chosen to place on a pedestal. He'll learn.

Love the conversation with "Special Ed." He is dumber than a box of rocks.
Well, yeah, he can be on occasion. Lots more to come in a similar vein as the series progresses.
