Great first chapters. I liked the bonding moments with Tara. They totally ignored the fact that Tara's mother had also died in the show, didn't they? And Buffy starting to think a little better of Spike. Always a good thing.

Oh, I love your new story. You brought out every single point and awful deed I hated about those scenes after Joyce died. Xander's horrid speech to Spike about killed me when it aired, and I only wish that Buffy would have heard it too. Who knows, maybe it wouldn't have taken her so long to realize that Spike had changed.
Personally, I never thought that Angel should have been in that eppy. He hadn't been a part of the show or the gang in a year, whereas Spike was, yet he was shunned...and he loved Joyce (as she liked him).
Reading your fic is like fixing all the wrongs and that I was so angry about with that eppy. You're doing a fab. job with it, and I can't wait for more.

fab second chapter - I am looking fwrd to seeing how this changes things and how is helps the relationships around her. Can;t wait to find out what Riley is going to think of everything and how the gang will react to spike's prescene.

Nothing like a bite from Spike and the UST flows like mad...LOVE IT!! That was great, and I can't wait for the next chapter!!! (Especially to find out how they get rid of Glory, and the growing Spuffy relationship)

WOW.... they are not actually bonded and a family. I didn't think Buffy would be so willing. I knew that Dawn would have no problem... And to have Joyce just confirm their decision was awesome. I hope Buffy really listens to her mother on this. And I agree with Dawn, it was HOT... The ritual between Buffy and Spike is only a prelude to the future (I can only hope)

Very sweet turn of events. I like this version. And I think everything you wrote should have been done in the series. Although I doubt BTVS could hve survived without it's quota of angst.
