As entertaining as the premise promises to be, I have difficulty seeing Spike meekly submit to Anyanka's whims.

| Oh this is delichious! Love every word and nuance of it so far! You know, I really can see Spike responding to acceptance and love even with no chip or soul and Angel is just Angelus lite IMHO...still a liar and manipulator where Buffy is concerned (On his own show he had the makings of a hero, but not on BtVS). | Oh my God, I just can't get enough of this story. My least favorite seasons of Buffy were always the ones before Good Spike...and anytime Spuffy is written in that period it just doesn't ring true. Until this fic, that is. I think you inserted him PERFECTLY into this time period and I LOVE the resulting changes based on his early appearance on the scene. Can't wait for more! |
