Yuck! The First is creepy. Did it trigger Spike with the song? Hard for him to do much in the daytime unless some potential wanders into the basement.
Hmm... Gotta wait until next chapter to find out. Did Buffy actually see Dawn touch the basement door, when she came up? Evil Grin Thanks for reviewing!

Is this a different First?
Hmmm... I don't think so. I was thinking about how The First liked to toy with Buffy & the Potentials. Buffy has a conflicting superiority/inferiority complex and has been desplaying mixed emotions about Spike, so it made sense to me that The First would use her choices and fears against her for kicks. Thanks for the reviewing.
