| This is probably going to sound strange, but I like the fact that Spike beat Buffy around a bit. In so many stories Spike becomes Buffy's personal whipping boy whenever she's in a bad mood and he just takes it. Though I'm a true Spuffy fan, its nice to see him get a bit of his own for once. |

Chapter 2 doesn't dissapoint - same strong story & characters. I love how you've put such depth into the backstory - really giving us insights into Buffy's feelings & motivations. This is incredibly well written - you've made me a fan  |

I am really enjoying this story. I can't wait to see where you take it. I especially liked this about Giles:

He can't wait for daybreak and I can't wait for the next chapter. Excellent and believable. Spike is season 2 Spike with that soft underbelly showing when it comes to love and to Buffy attractions.
