This is absolutely wonderful. Your characterization of both Buffy and Spike is dead on. I love their inner dialogue that you share with us.
I'm definitely hooked on this story. So many other things I could/should be doing right now but I'm off to the next chapter. |

Wow! This just gets better & better. So many great lines - loved these: "She was so terrifying. She threatened to change everything without even raising her voice." and
"Tonight, she was a girl. A woman. And the man in him appreciated the woman far too much for his own good."
So well written - eloquent & subtle. This is one of the best fics I've read in a very long time.

Good on him on trying to set her straight about Angel.
Her mental health could've benefited from that instead of people just doing the stake him because he lost his soul thing. Not to mention he wouldn't have gotten away after the judge incident because she wasn't ready to stake him. |
