| i love this story so much. i love the characterization like you wouldn't believe. everyone seems just right, without the extremes you sometimes get in spuffy. update soon. i'm dying over here! |
Thank you. I am so glad you are enjoying it and that you like my characterisations... I do try to keep them as true to the show as possible... while obviously eeding to make the necessary changes to get them where I need them to be.
I can't promise an update soon as I haven't had time for writing lately... but I will get to it as soon as possible. |

I just found your story, and I wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying it. My favorite stories are in the early seasons before everything went so terribly wrong. And a claimed Slayer and Vamp is all to the good for me. I am intrigued to see Ethan. I hope that he stays around. I really enjoy a protective Spike. I know that Buffy can take care of herself, but she still needs a protector. Someone she can count on. I don't really care for Xander, but if you can redeem him, I say go for it. I hope he comes around. I can't wait to see more of this fic.

Yes, I enjoy early season Spuffy too. Ethan is a LOT of fun to write and yes I am pretty sure he will be sticking around... at least for a while yet. I like protective Spike and Buffy... I love them taking care of each other. Xander is definitely not one of my favourite characters but he does have some redeeming qualities and if he grows up a little and stops acting like a complete arse he can be alright... I am hoping he will come around but what I want and what the muse wants aren't always the same thing LOL.

| Very good update of this one, and I am happy to see an update of this fic. I do enjoy it very much. It doesn't matter that I answered the same challenge either. Each of us that answered it (3 or 4 of us that I know of) has a different take and outlook on it. I love your fic, and I am always happy to see that our ideas are still going off in different ways. I look forward to the next update of this one. |
| Thank you Tasha. I am glad you are still enjoying it. I am trying to work on the next update and write some fics that I have due for certain communities at the same time. Hopefully it won't be TOO much longer but of course I have to get the deadline ones done first. |

Spike is probably the only one who can understand that Buffy needs to be DOING something... she's just not made for sitting around and waiting... but then nor is he! |

I hope Spike's not about to upset his future m-in-law (though at the same time, since she now knows Buffy's pregnant and they're pretty much as good as married I have to say that she's fighting a losing batlle there).
