| I'm really enjoying your story. I was bored yesterday and decided to give it a try. It's really good so far. I like how soulless Spike is changing and leaving his "big bad" days behind without the help of a soul and you still managed to make it make sense. I also like the fact Buffy knows about him not having a soul and still accepts him. Her dislike of Angel is just an added bonus ;) Good job. |

| I am so glad that Buffy realized that the soul wasn't that important! Spike has proven himself to her without the soul and Angel just keeps letting her down! The confrontation should be explosive! |

Loved this, Megan. Spike's thoughts on being part of the group and his changing perception of his 'food' shows how much he is willing to look at his unlife from a different angle.

| Great chapter Megan! I feel for Xander in this. You've given us another possible reason for the source of Xander's eventual deep hatred of vampires. In canon, Jesse's death by his hands fueled everything, but here, we've got Jesse as a vamp's snack and that anger is starting to boil. I'm hoping that it will perhaps diminish some with regards to Spike so that when it is revealed Spike doesn't have a soul, Xander doesn't go apeshit. |

| Excellent chapter Megan! I love the posturing from Giles, the fury from Xander and the hesitancy from Buffy to expose Spike to possible scrutiny. The fact that Spike didn't realise Angel REALLY had a soul made me laugh but it was very believeable. Excellent work as always sweetie, can't wait to see how you wrap this one up. *hugs* |

the whole soul or no soul debate is very interesting...Angel with a soul is worse than Spike without...glad her friends were able to accept him, even if they don't know the whole truth...and personally i dont think they need to...lol... great update  |
