Way to keep us on the edge of our seats.
I love Spike's running inner dialogue. And its refreshing to see Buffy go head to head with the others in support of their relationship; instead of kicking him into the shadows when the others are around.

Uh oh ... Spike realizes that he truly loves Buffy, and Giles is gunning for the ritual of protection. Then all goes topsy turvy when Willow and them come in with the disk about the spell for the soul restoration. Oh boy. Wonderful update.
You keep the readers entranced and on the edge withough overpowering it with angst. Thank you so much. |

| Loved this chapter! The way that Buffy stood up for him and showed that she cared was great! I just hope she doesn't screw everything up in typical Buffy style! Loved how you wrote Oz, it was spot on! |

Wonderful chapter! I love how Buffy stood up to Giles and let Spike know that she does care for him even though she didn't let the dreaded L word slip out. I hope that Buffy sets Spike straight soon about her feelings concerning him and Angelus.

Only two lines from Oz, but don't be insulted when I say they're my favorite in the entire chapter.
The wolf frowned at Spike. “Aren’t you that vampire?”
“Yeah.”
“Okay. Thought so.”
Sooo many people get Oz wrong. This is just a great example of how neat it is when someone gets him right.
