She pictured herself, a pale ghost in her kimono: white fabric against white snow. Only her dark hair would stand out, drifting around her face like a living thing.
Stark imagery, evoking the reverse coloring of the modern day vampire who is relucant consort and yet still equal to the current Slayer. Wonderful word usage, as always. |
