{sighs} Yes, we did get warned about the darker chapters. I had so been hoping that we were kind of through with them. Looks like we aren't though. I know there are 9 chapters left for me to read ... and even at the end of 23 these two still make me want to strangle them. Although it seemed like a happier chapter (23). It's one reason I put off reading this until more of it was available. I just can't handle the angst so much and the up and down.
This was a good chapter update, but it does wreak havoc on the emotions. |

| Lovely chapter, Buffy in denial is always fun to read. The dark chapters coming sounds like interesting reading. Hope for an update soon. |

Oh, the angst! It's killing me, but it's soooo good. It's really compelling how Spike keeps going back and forth between tender and cruel - no wonder poor Buffy's so confused. Keep the awesome chapters coming.

| wonderful story, i'm so conflicted by it though, want to hate spike so much and i want buffy to run fast and far away but at the same time i want things to work out...ugh! lol |
