| What I am trying to do with teh journal entries is take the things that actually happened in the show so others might see how scarily flawed they all were. I loved all the characters, but I also saw them as tearing others down for doing some of the same things they did. Which makes them human and more believable for me. |

| I love how you have Buffy coming to terms and really identifying the truth behind Willow & Xander. Recognizing them for their flaws and seeing how much she had allowed them to dictate what she did in her personal life. Angel-on the other hand-infuriates the hell out of me. I love how in one thought he's offended by the thought of her friends ruling Buffy's life, but then thinking he needed to tell her what to do. Hypocrit, thy name is Angel. |

| God, Angel is thick as a brick wall! I loved this chapter. My favorite one so far because it's all so true. It feels good that Buffy finally sees the light. Every single thing that bugs me about Xander and Willow is right there in Buffy's journal. I wish she would have mentioned the "lets throw Buffy out of her own house" episode. Wonder how she felt about that one. |
| This part of the journal was written before that happened. In my little world here she started looking at them when she found out Spike had a soul. That is why there is not going to be any real mention of what goes on in season 7 in the journal. Thanks for the great review. |

| I gotta be honest... not a big fan of the friend-hating. I loved the show mainly for the people around Buffy, so having her say how horrible they were didn't sit too well with me. Still, I think this chapter is well-written and that the story as a whole is great. I'm not giving up on it! |
| I'm going to be perfectly honest with you. This fic is about all of their flaws. There will be more entries on Giles, Angel, Buffy and Spike all done in the same manner. In this chapter there was only one thing that I put in it that wasn't on the show. Everything else is exactly what did happen on the show and that is what I will be doing with all of them. I am letting Buffy see that none of them not even herself was perfect and that you must accept this part of yourself and the ppl around you before you can truly forgive yourself and others and be happy. |

| FINALLY!!! Thank you sooo much for writing all of that about Willow and Xander. Man, that's exactly how I feel everytime I watch the show. They always wanted to dictate Buffy's life, yet, all their own faults got swept under the rug. Ugh! And now Angel is gonna try and do the same thing. Boy, I can't wait till Wes tells Buffy so that she can kick his self-righteous ass! LOVE IT!!!!! More, soon? Please? |

One little correction - if this entry is supposed to be from January in Season 7, that's '03, not '02.
Wow, you're really painting Angel's arrogance here. I hope Spike gets his hands on the journal soon. I imagine he'll want to skip to the end to see what she finally said about him. |
Actually it was supposed to be in Oct. of 02. LMAO I didn't realize I'd typed it wrong the first time so I just went 7 days into the future from the wrongly typed date for the next entry as well. Thank you so much for letting me know and its all fixed.

I guess I didn't make it as clear as I thought in the first part of the fic. She wrote this journal throughout S7 because she went back and read all of her other diaries since she'd moved to Sunnydale and wasn't liking the person she'd become. This is her way of working through her issues and is personal and has nothing to do with what happened in S7, just with finding herself and her emotions. I'm sorry I didn't make it clear enough I hope that helps.

Everything in this entry ijs stuffy that shoiuld've been said out loud in canon. That delusting spell was the first clear indication of Willow overriding someone elses free will. It would've been different if she had told him she had an idea, explained the spell and gotten his permission but she didn't do any of that.
And Angel really is clueless isn't he? He doesn't get the irony in his own thoughts? |

| I had to laugh at Angel’s reaction to Buffy’s words about Xander and Willow. His very response to it was to try and control her the same as they did. You did such an excellent job of defining a major theme through the whole series in this chapter. Most of the people in her life expected her to save the world and lead everyone in the fight for good, but they all treated her as if she was too young, dumb, or immature to make any decisions in the other parts of her life. Thanks for another great update. |

| Angel is so THICK! Here he is reading about how Buffy was tired of people making decisions for her and telling her what to do and he is thinking about doing just that! I hope to all that is holy that by the end of this story Angel not only has to read about how great Spike is but then gets his tail kicked by Buffy herself for invading her privacy! Loving the story! |
