Evil cliffhanger indeed. That is an understatement. Oh my. I would be really chomping at the bit here if I didn't have the next chapter to read as well.
This chapter was bittwersweet in that we got to see them being happy, but the realization later that she still couldn't stop the feeding .... you wrote it very well. You have a good grasp on the true emotions of each of them as they separately try to deal with it. |

I had actually forgetten that I had been following this story, so I've just caught up on the chapters I'd missed, and yeah...I'm really hoping your muse stays this active, cuz I'll be needing more, and soon!
Can't wait to see how Spike will react when he sees (or feels?) what Buffy has done. Will there be rage? Sadness? Devastation? Let's find out soon, shall we? |

Oy vey - back to the angst! And I love it, sick puppy that I am. Really wonderful Buffy POV in this chapter. I can't wait for Spike to finally realize what the dark side of their relationship is doing to Buffy - and read what he's going to do about it.

| Knowing Buffy's luck, she won't be drained enough before he gets back to be completely dead, so he'll turn her. Poor girl, so young...she's been through so much. I was waiting for her to do something like this. Either suicide, or drugs to numb herself from what he does every night. |
